LG Viatera is composed of quartz gemstones blended with advanced polymer resins and colorfast pigments. The manufacturing process takes place under intense heat and pressure. The innovative design combined with cutting edge technology makes Viatera one of the highest quality quartz surfacing materials on the market.

Stain Resistant

Viatera is made from 93% natural quartz, which is an impervious crystalline mineral that is particularly resistant to absorption. When adhered with the polyester resins, Viatera becomes a material that is non-porous and extremely stain resistant.

Scratch Resistant

The majority of Viatera's makeup is natural quartz; classified as one of the hardest minerals on earth. The only materials with a higher ranking are topaz, sapphires and diamonds, making Viatera an extremely durable surface.

Heat Resistant

Although LG Viatera is heat resistant, it is recommended that trivets and/or hot pads be used when working with hot pots, pans or any other kitchen items that produce high heat or concentrated areas of extreme heat.

Strength

Viatera is comprised of 93% quartz, giving the material the superior strength to stone. Should you accidentally inflict a deep scratch or surface mar, a trained professional can easily resurface your Viatera thanks to its sealant-free consistency.

Hygienic

Viatera is non-porous without crevices or surface irregularities where harmful bacteria and mold may reside. Unlike other surfaces, it does not require a regular application of sealants or waxes to maintain Viatera's hygienic properties.

Large Slab Sizes

With 24% larger slab sizes (63" x 130") than a standard slab, Viatera can accommodate larger layouts including expanded kitchen islands with fewer seams.
